Sugar free jam: 10 recipes

And if we add to this the fact that the most delicious is the jam with a bun, then such snack can be easily equated to a decent portion of chocolate or a piece of cake. 100 grams of jam contains about 278 calories, but this figure may vary depending on how much sugar was put in the preparation.

Jam from eggplants, beets and cucumbers

Dishes. Vegetable jam is an unusual thing, but cooking it is as easy as traditional. No special fixtures are required. First of all, we need accurate scales (jam does not tolerate approximation), a cutting board, a sharp knife, a peeler. It is advisable to get a wide pan with a thick bottom of the highest quality steel: thanks to the excellent thermal conductivity and a large surface area, the jam in it is brewed much faster. A wooden spoon with a long handle for stirring and a jar with hermetic closures are the logical conclusion to the whole process.

Jam from pumpkin

60 minutes/ 20 servings/ 31 kcal

Ingredients

Pumpkin (butternut) 1 kg

Juice (apple or orange) ¾ cup

Ginger (ground) 2 tsp.

Cinnamon 2 tsp

Nutmeg 1 tsp

Clove 2-3 pcs.

Sweetener (honey or agave syrup) to taste

Cooking process:

  1. Peel the pumpkin and peel the seeds. Cut into pieces.
  2. Grind in a blender to a state of mashed potatoes with juice.
  3. Mix the prepared mashed potatoes with spices in a large saucepan. Add honey, maple syrup or agave syrup to taste.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes or until the jam thickens. Stir constantly.

    5. Put the jam in jars and store in the refrigerator.
