Ingredients:
Green lentils – 150 g
Dates with seeds – 200 g
Nuts mix – 180 g (120 g – in candies, 80 g – for sprinkling candies)
Cocoa powder – 5 tbsp. (3 tbsp. – in sweets, 2 tbsp. – for sprinkling sweets)
Alcohol-Free Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp.
Cooking method:
- Prepare all the ingredients you need. You can take any nuts for sweets to your taste. I have a mixture of almonds, hazelnuts, and walnuts.
- Soak dates in cold water for 1 hour. Then dry and remove the pits.
- Rinse the lentils, cover with cold water and cook until tender.
- Dry the nuts in a dry frying pan for about 7 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Cool the nuts, and then grind with a blender in the “pulse” mode.
- Grind the dates in a blender.
- Add boiled lentils, cocoa, and vanilla essence to the dates. Grind.
- Finally, add chopped nuts and mix thoroughly.
- From the resulting mass, roll the candies of the desired shape and roll some of them in groundnuts, and some in cocoa.
- Put the prepared candies in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Serve with your favorite drink, especially sweets are great with a cup of aromatic coffee.
