Armenian walnut jam recipe

In Armenian cuisine, walnuts are in great demand, so it comes as no surprise that they have their own delicious nut jam recipe.

50 nuts;
1.1 kg of sugar;
3 pcs. cardamom;
5 pieces. cloves.

Cooking method:

  1. Pour a cup of sweetener into a liter of liquid and boil the syrup.
    2. We put the nuts prepared according to all the rules in a sweet solution and simmer for ten minutes, then pour in the remaining sugar and cook for half an hour.
    3. At the end of cooking, put the spices and leave for a day, then boil for another 40 minutes and preserve them in sterile jars.

    1. I do not know, the picture is from Pixabay. We did not do this jam for quiet sometime, so could not take a picture. But we used to make it all the time. The whole my childhood, my mom did it. So, from her recipes and stories, I decided, that it is interesting to share, pity, no picture)
