Lean barley porridge with nuts

Barley groats 250 g.
Carrots 1 pc.
Root celery 1/4 pc.
Honey 1 tbsp (can be replaced with any sweetener, I have date sauce
Walnuts 100 g.
Curry 1/2 tsp

Cooking method:

  1. Rinse the groats, cover with cold water in a ratio of 1: 2, and cook under the lid.
  2. Grate carrots and celery on a medium grater, add to porridge. Be sure to stir during cooking so that the porridge does not stick to the bottom.
  3. When the water is equal to the grain, try it. If the porridge is almost ready, then add the curry, stir. Remove from heat and wrap in a blanket. Leave the porridge to infuse for 20 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, chop the walnuts into small pieces.
  5. When the porridge is infused, add honey, walnuts to it and mix.
