Natural Lemonade

Lemon 200 g.
Maple syrup 2 tablespoons
Mint 10 g.
Tarragon 10 g.
Water 500 ml

Cooking method:

  1. Cut the mint and tarragon.
  2. Pour water into a saucepan and add chopped mint and tarragon. Bring to a boil, but do not boil. Cool it down.
  3. Cut the lemons in half and squeeze the juice into a deep bowl.
  4. Add a few tablespoons of maple syrup to the lemon juice.
  5. Add lemon juice with maple syrup to cooled water with mint and tarragon. Stir and pour through a fine sieve into a decanter. Serve over ice.

  1. Wow, I’ve always wanted to see a recipe for this. I’ve heard the phrase, ‘When life gives you lemons..’ Soooo many times but, as someone in the UK lemons don’t grow so well here, so we don’t have the same culture to support this. Growing up I never understood the phrase. This post is a little shot of sunshine. Thank you for brightening my day!
